Sources & rights

Causality course source

Jonas Peters, Dominik Janzing and Bernhard Schölkopf. Elements of Causal Inference: Foundations and Learning Algorithms. MIT Press, 2017. ISBN 9780262037310.

The source book is available under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. See the publisher's source and open-access edition for the work and its notices.

Teaching content and simulations

The local content packs contain independently authored teaching explanations, questions and synthetic scenarios, with references to the relevant source sections. They are not a licensed translation or edition of the textbook. Simulated data and declared model assumptions are teaching material, not empirical research findings.

The Foundations, intervention-effect and robust prediction or generation courses use independently authored General and Medical examples. Course illustrations include AI-generated context images. Numerical results, tables and causal diagrams are defined by the teaching content rather than inferred from those images. Internal asset records retain the generation prompts and source locations.

This notice does not certify every asset for public distribution or grant rights to reuse it. Textbook PDFs, extracted text and figures remain authoring material outside the public site. Any proposed source excerpt, translated passage or adapted figure requires a use-specific rights review before publication.
